Pistachio Ice Cream in the Ninja Creami

• 1 cup premier protein vanilla

• 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

• 1/4 whole milk

• 4 tbsp pistachio jello mix

• 3 tbsp lightly salted roasted pistachios

1. Add all ingredients except pistachios to the ninja creami pint container up to the max fill line and mix well with hand held frother.

2. Freeze container for 24 hours until frozen solid.

3. Remove frozen pint, run under hot water for 60 seconds and install into your machine.

4. For the first spin, press lite Ice Cream button. Remove the outer bowl lid and add 1T pistachios and press respin button.

5. Check ice cream. The final product should be creamy and have a smooth texture (if not then spin again). At this point I taste it and if it’s not pistachio enough, I mix a little bit more pudding with some whole milk and re-spin. I have ordered some pistachio flavoring to see if I can use that instead of extra pudding.

6. Add your pistachios and mix again using the “mix-in” button.
